Thursday Thoughts – November 22, 2018

It’s the last Sunday in the Church Year, we are doing ‘A Story Walk Through Jesus’ Life.

This is an intergenerational service (so no Sunday School) with a multitude of readings and an opportunity for people of all ages, young to older to participate by placing an object on the communion table and/or reading.

Don’t forget the NMR Christmas Tea & Sale on Saturday!

Advent starts on Dec 2nd and there are a few opportunities to take part in an advent practice:

1. Advent Word 2018, take a picture and send it to me, post it on social media etc.

Advent Photo

2. Advent Email Retreat: Waking Up: Waking up, and paying attention, is an Advent invitation. More than ever, our world needs people who are willing to live from an awakened heart and practice Love in their corner of the world. Let Rev. Catherine know by Nov. 27th if you would like to receive this free resource from The Prayer Bench.
