A big thank you to EVERYONE who made Holy Week Services meaningful, from readers to chair movers, from flower buyers, to musicians, it was an amazing week.
Easter is a season, not just one Sunday! On this second Sunday of Easter, we continue to celebrate the resurrection.
Scripture – John 20: 19-31
Reflection – Doubt and Belief
Questions I am pondering:
- Can we belief what we cannot see?
- What do we put our trust in?
I have often said that the 11th commandment is ‘Thou shall not tell the minister anything before or after church and expect her to remember!” Here is a humorous look at what else you shouldn’t say to the minister.
Do we love what we do in our churches? Check out Jan Edmiston’s wisdome here.

Busing to the Ordination Service on May 26, 2019
Are you interested in attending the ordination service in Sackville, NB, where Kim Curlett will be ordained? Annika Sangster, the minister at St. Luke’s in Tantallon is looking into the possibility of hiring a bus. Details so far: We’d leave from St. Luke’s in Upper Tantallon at 7:30am (approx) on May 26th, making one other stop (Maybe St. John’s in Fall River?) to be in Sackville, NB for 9:30am or shortly after. Worship begins at 10am and depending on the number of people being ordained/commissioned/recognized, it will likely finish sometime between 11:30am and 12pm. Angela MacLean and Kim have planned a joint potluck reception afterwards at the civic center, so we’d leave between 12:30 and 1:00pm returning around 2:30-3:00pm. We need a minimum of 20 people to make this work. The cost will be somewhere between $36-$56 per person. Ideally, if we had around 40-50 people we could get a bus that has a bathroom, making a more pleasant journey. If you’d like to be part of the bus trip, please email Annika @ firstname.lastname@example.org
